Well, if you read my last accountability post you know that 2022 didn't start that well. And it continued the same way -- we can't seem to go more than a week before a new disaster or major stressor happens. So I'm not going to do one for March; in broad strokes we were part of a wedding, had a water leak that left us without water for four days, and dealt with taxes and medical claims. Even though April has been very stressful, we also had some proper relaxation and finally got to go on our cruise! A well-deserved vacation after all we've dealt with. I also kicked off the hiking/camping season with a solo-trip with my dog and feel very excited about the summer to come. :) Have 1 date with myselfCheck! As I just mentioned, I spontaneously went on a camping trip with Rosco and had an amazing time. It is so calming to be out in nature, and I met some great people on the hiking trail. If it wasn't going to rain this weekend I was prepared to go right back! Have 1 therapy sessionCheck! Unfortunately it seems like I will start having a copay for therapy in June, so we'll see how often I'll decide to have them after that.
Read 1 educational/self-improvement book You know, this was a very lofty goal that I felt prepared to tackle in December, but as it is right now I will shelf this one until things (hopefully) calm down and I can allocate some resources to self-improvement. Have 1 proper date together Check! We went on a week-long vacation in Florida including a cruise to the Bahamas, Gatorland, and Universal Studios. We had plenty of fancy dinners, drinks in the jaccuzzi, shows, and not to mention alligators! Do 1 hiking tripCheck! We went on two hikes during the camping trip, and even though it was unseasonably 85 degrees and Rosco was not too pleased about that (we took a lot of breaks for him to lie in streams and mud puddles to cool down), it was so great to get out again! I haven't been on a proper hiking trip since November, what with recovering from surgery, having covid for a MONTH, etc., so I was very happy to take the opportunity in the ever-changing spring weather. Keep my inbox cleared upCheck! Can't say I kept up during the month, but it's all done now which is the main point of this goal! Do weekly bookkeepingI did not do this -- I actually just did both March and April at the same time. Which really reinforced how much easier it is if I log things weekly, haha. But I have May ready so I'm set up for success! Send 1 newsletter to my subscribersWell, I haven't written anything, so there wasn't much point in sending a newsletter. It fell very low on the "things I put my energy on" list.
