It was an interesting month for sure! I took a last-minute trip to Sweden to see my family, I haven't been there for FOUR YEARS due to the pandemic!! It was so great being there and seeing everyone again, even if the reason for the trip was sad. When I came home I threw myself into projects and redid the dining room, worked on the vegetable garden, and finished a needlepoint. Keeping busy and getting tangible results is a great way for me to cope! I also greatly enjoyed the nice spring temperatures and made sure to sit on the deck often before it gets too hot. Have 1 date with myselfCheck! I went backpacking with my dog in Wayne National Forest, and it was such a great time!! I went just after a rain so I was completely alone in the whole forest it seemed like. It was incredibly quiet and relaxing. Have 1 therapy sessionCheck! This was my last free session, so I decided to take a break for a while. We have had soo many sessions in 2022, with all of the family emergencies and whatnot happening, so I honestly feel a bit talked out, haha. It feels better right now to focus my energies on using all the tools I have gotten, and maybe we talk in a few months unless something bad happens. Have 1 proper date together Check! Before I left for Sweden we took a date night and went to dinner and played a board game. I had been spending some days packing and preparing so it was nice to spend the evening together! Do 1 hiking tripCheck! I haven't been proper backpacking in years, so that was fun! I was definitely overloaded with a tent and all the water for the two of us though, so I set up camp pretty early so we could go hiking with just the bag for water and snacks. Got two hikes in the 24 hours we were there. :) Keep my inbox cleared upCheck! Did my monthly "tomorrow's a new month I should delete a bunch of stuff". ;) Do weekly bookkeepingWith being away and dealing with everything I didn't do this every week, but as long as the monthly bookkeeping is done I'm generally happy.
