If you keep thinking "where did the hours go??" and feeling like you didn't get anything done, try time-tracking for a few days to find out!

After being sick and generally listless for a week, falling behind on chores and spending way too much time on Reddit. . . I decided to keep myself accountable and see what I actually do in a day, especially with a little bit of motivation! ;)

I made a spread in my bullet journal tracking 7am-1am and started writing down every half hour what I had done.
It's just like tracking your calories is good to do for a while to get a grasp on how much you actually eat in a day, how big your portions should actually be, and how many calories actually are in that snack you favor.
Not sure where your days go? Try time-tracking!
Example from day 1:
5.30-6 - Shoveling snow
6-6.30 - Dinner/Netflix
6.30-7 - Reading
7-7.30 - Cleaning
7.30-8 - Cleaning
8-8.30 - Bullet journal, journaling
8.30-9 - Sewing
9-9.30 - Reading
9.30-10 - Reddit
I did this for four days, and was kinda losing steam a bit the last day. It's a lot to log every half hour!

But it was such a good exercise to do! Since I was feeling a bit meh I got to see just how many things I do in a day, and it gave me the little extra push to do things instead of having to write down "Reddit" over and over. And I got the house cleaned up the first day, which has a huge impact on me! I cannot do clutter, lol.

So try doing this for a few days, or even just one! See what you could do with your evenings instead of watching TV, or what you really spend your time on during the weekend. Knowledge is power!
